Blogging Rockstar: BIG Scott

A few months ago we had a job opening at wallhogs.com for a blogging pro. We had a number of well qualified applicants and after some delay picked Scott Schroeder. I’ve been thrilled by his hard work, diligence, networking ability and overall performance with little hand holding or extended supervision on my part. We line up a few times a week to talk about strategy and he executes like a rockstar. He’s building an awesome community at our blog, which is picking up steam, gaining multiple user comments per post and expanding our exposure. There’s lots of logic on why having a blog and building a community is a successful strategy for a startup, but a good blog takes time to build. As any blogger knows it’s not easy to develop solid posts and keep your readers interests. I know that due to lack of time my blog has suffered in recent weeks. Scott has really taken ownership of the wallhogs blog, does great posts and interviews and is really rocking it. Thank you Scott. Keep up the great work! 🙂
