Startup Hell… I love it.
For the last few weeks I have been sprinting for Wallhogs.com. My weekend was consumed with work and the lack of sleep, poor diet, and long hours left me at the end of each day feeling run down, tired, and most recently with a sore throat. I thought I was getting sick and the feedback from my throat left me thinking that the morning after was going to be even worse. Last night I was convinced that my alarm was going to be paired with head and body aches and an even worse plague in my throat. To my surprise this morning I awoke feeling refreshed and ready to go. Tonight after another long day, my sore throat was back. I am trying to convince myself it’s from all of the conference calls and sales pitches. I hope it is due only to over usage and not to a bug. I am, however, even in this less than tip top shape, still running hard, make good progress, and very excited for the activity at our startup. Now, more than ever, I am convinced that our message is getting out, being well received, and that we will be successful- no matter what. Some people would absolutely hate this feeling… I love it. Bring it on.
Like your nyquil my friend, a start-up is an elixir. I am rooting for you. You go boy!
Working the fingers to the bone, ALWAYS! Same goes for here in Philly. Up early and to bed late…That’s how we’ll catch that worm.
Antman and Meghan are right. I think there is something to be said for hardwork- it’s all about opportunity costs, right?
