Update from DC

I don’t know if I am getting a summertime cold or if my allergies are acting up, but I feel really crappy. My nose has been running for like two days straight and my throat is all sore. I hope I am not getting sick because this is a very important weekend. Tomorrow the bank is having happy hour at the Ritz Carlton! Well, also tomorrow at happy hour, my dance instructor Carlos (AKA CarLooosss) will be performing some of his dances with the upper level students from his dance class. Saying how I have only had two classes in the Tango, I’m not about to go out there and make a fool out of myself, but I do want to attend. The problem is though that the Happy hour is from 6:30-9:30 and I want to make it back in time to enjoy the small party we are going to have at the courts because David is turning 21 at midnight! I want to be back for his party, thus meaning no drinking or tango dancing at happy hour. No drinking and driving. Hmm…. I just had an idea- how about I take the train back? I don’t know, I’ll have to see about how cheap it is.

Plus, on Sunday Carlooosss has invited me to one of his dance parties at one of his friend’s houses. There will be lots of dancing and then I guess there is a pool to hang out in after we’re tired of the tango. He told me that if I had any kids that I could bring them along also- (yeah, right- me kids…. not yet, please) But it looks as though it is a fun family event for couples in his dance class to come to and drink, dance and be merry.
